Comment retirer une boucle d'oreille de perçage ?

Type of Piercing Earring

Getting your ears pierced is a popular choice for many people, regardless of factors such as age or men's style. However, removing your earrings can turn into a real nightmare if you don't have the right technique. Whatever type of jewelry you were pierced with, removing it should not be very difficult. The most important thing to remember is that everything must be clean. Anything dirty can lead to bacteria being introduced into the hole.

Make sure to wash your hands thoroughly before removing your earrings. How you remove earrings depends on the type of jewelry you were pierced with. The most common type of jewelry for new earrings are stud earrings, which are removed by pulling the back and sliding the front out of the ear.

Other people prefer to be pierced with earrings. These are removed in the same way or by detaching a small piece of the earring from the other side and sliding it out of the ear.

Patience and Delicacy

Sometimes earrings get stuck in the ears. This is particularly common for ears that have been recently pierced.

The key to removing stuck earrings is to be patient and gentle. A rough approach could cause serious injury and even promote infection. If your ears are red, swollen, or bleeding, consult a doctor, as these symptoms indicate an infection. Dry them carefully. This step helps prevent infections, especially if the holes are new or still healing.

How to remove a piercing earring?

Use a Cotton Swab

Wet a cotton swab with warm water and run it over the front and back of the hole. Soak a new cotton swab in disinfectant and rub it over the front and back of the earlobe, making sure to get under the front of the attachment and the clasp.

Grasp the clasp, pinching the front of the attachment and the earlobe with your other hand. Gently try to rotate the clasp in a circle on the post to loosen it. Rotate the clasp back and forth in a slight rocking motion until it reaches the end of the post. Gently pull the clasp to release it.

Grasp the front of the post with pinched fingers and gently rotate it in the hole until it turns freely. Run warm water over the front and back of the lobe, then gently pull the attachment until it slides out of the hole.

Clean the Ear

Wipe the front and back of the earlobe with warm water and disinfectant. Dry with a soft washcloth, then treat the lobes with an antiseptic ointment if they appear red or swollen.

Remember that your ears are very delicate and can become inflamed or even infected if the tissues are injured. So, if an earring is stuck, you should never force it out.

If you haven't taken the plunge yet, know that there are also fake earrings that don't require pierced ears. Perfect for those who don't want to jump in yet and prefer a more reserved approach.
